Is the Laptop replacing the Portable DVD Player ?
The Laptop is a multifunctional device that everyone wants these days. They store your personal information and photos, allow you to listen to your favorite music, takes you to the World Wide Web for shopping, browsing and downloading. They are very popular amongst business travelers. Most teens prefer the Laptop today for the functions listed above , but mainly for watching DVD movies and listening to music. Most Laptops, with its built in DVD and CD drives allow you to watch and store your favorite movies and music.
That brings us back to the topic of this discussion. Is the Laptop replacing the Portable DVD Player ? I think not. While the Laptop is more multifunctional and costs anywhere from $300-$2000.00 or higher depending on your preferences, the Portable DVD Player is more economical at around $90-$150.00. And let’s face it, with today’s sluggish economy, if you’re a teenager and just love to watch movies and listen to music, the Portable DVD player is the way to go.

I personally use my daughter’s music player. Well we use it together. She enjoys listening to music and watching music videos on the player. I personally use it for storing my e-books. I am a student at Colorado Technical University. I use the player to access my e-book after I download them to the player. It is very helpful and comes in handy for me when I’m away from home and my desktop. I can still access information for reading tasks to complete assignments for my classes and I never have to worry about not being able to read materials for upcoming tasks because I have them on my digital player. This device is amazing.
